Nov. 29th The Belch'n Turkey VI "Smashed Potatoes" A PDGA "B" tier sanctioned event. Divisions from Pro to Recreational Sinks and TVA's Chickamauga Dam Recreation Area temp course.. A must attend event!

Friday:
9:00 Chickamauga Course open for play
10:00 Morning Doubles - John Gray/Brian Sales
12:00 - 5:00PM Early check-in
2:00 Afternoon Doubles (both Long & Short tee doubles)

I have singed up for Belch'n this year. I am coming from Middle Georgia so I am not as familiar with the Chattanooga scene.
I have a few Questions.

1. What Tees will the Rec division throw from at the Sinks? -- The Rec division will be playing from the front tees
2. Can you give some information about TVA's Chickamauga Dam Recreation Area temp course? -- The course at the dam is, for the most part, wide open with a lot of elevation changes. There are usually a few holes in the woods. The course is a little different each time due to the fact that it is a temp. course.
3. Will the TVA's Chickamauga Dam Course be playable before Belch'n? -- The course at the dam will be available to play on Friday along with pre-registration.

No CFR's this year.....but the players pack for the first 90 or so ams is ridiculous. Everyone should get registered and quick.

Pros & Adv will play Sinks & Then Chick.

All others pooled together so the Rec, Int, W, Jrs is the limiting field 72 players per course..
So if your bagg'n pre-register ASAP. Or you'll be made to play Pro on Dave Smith's card..!

Cut the TD a break pre-register and check-in early...Makes game day better for everyone..Big Thanks..!

It has been decided after much debate: Doubles on Friday November 28,2008 at the Chickamauga Dam course. We will meet at the parking at the swimming area. We will have 10:00am and 2:00pm start times to accommodate as many people as possible. The tees will be decided after putting it to a vote before the doubles start. Just look for John Gray (the tall guy), Brian Sales (the loud guy) or Jason Soules (the nice guy talking to his discs) when you get to the there. I will have signed doctors excuses for those who decide to miss work....jk.

FRIDAY DOUBLE @ Chickamauga temp - Here it is! 10:00 & 2:00..... You play the tees you want! Short or Long

Options to be decided by those present:

1) Mixed teams - 1 Long tee player & 1 Short Tee player per team (plus bigger payout everyone together, down side odd pair or odd man)

2) 2 Doubles - Short Doubles and a Long Doubles (down side smaller payout, upside more even..maybe?)

Option A to both: alternating shot, worst shot, best shot ( 1 0r all 6 holes each?)

Let's not get all crazy about Doubles we want it to be something for everyone...! We'll make it work...Have'n fun throwing plastic at trees! Right!
